When Jodi asked me to take photos of her home, although I’ve never done interior work before, I jumped right in. It felt like a Matryoshka doll project–me taking photos, of her home, which was filled with artwork. I really enjoy getting to photograph homes. Home is such a sacred place; a place that is a unique extension of each family.
My images from Jodi’s interior session were recently featured on Design* Sponge. Go check it out to read her commentary on the why’s and what’s of her house. I couldn’t resist posting photos here as well, because I like bigger images and because a couple of my favorite photos weren’t included there.
One of the best parts about her family’s living space? Both of her boys had their own “art closet” where they are free to create their own masterpieces. So inspiring!
