east nashville photographer | buzzing broadway street

a month or so ago, i ventured downtown with two other photographer friends to practice street photography on Broadway. as you can see, it was buzzing with people of all kinds–old, young, fans, cheerleaders, musicians, panhandlers, tourists, magicians, lovers, dreamers, poodle-holders, etc. i loved it. can’t wait to do it again.

  • Leah Donaldson - Alana these are fabulous! You get a real sense of that day. I am loving the tone of your black and whites soooo much! Very 1950’s Vivian Maier! Just beautiful. Number 26 is my fav!!!! Such a sweeping photo. Your eyes go to the street performer first, then the crowd but you are swept back to him. Just love it! And….Elvis! Uh..huh…love it!ReplyCancel

  • Allie - I agree. I don't use credit cards either. Paypal does have a debit card option that's a good compromise, though, and that's how I get around the credit card reqmnreueit. There's no fee for me to use it, and it works just like any MasterCard. I gave up credit cards about 20 years ago when I figured out that the only one who benefits is the credit card company.ReplyCancel

  • http://www./ - Great post Joncee! I love invites that include the phrase, “we hired a professional to take our photos so that our loved ones are able to relax and enjoy the ceremony. We’ll be more than happy to share our pictures and video with you once we have them in hand.” Being present is so important!!ReplyCancel
